I too have this as well the fear of pushing myself in any form of exercise thnk it is because we have become so intuned in our own bodies that we look and feel every sensation eg: heart racing,shakes and hard to breathe. I guess it is fear of shit what if i have a heart attack.... what if i have a stroke....... what if i drop dead.... THE WHAT IFS far out i hate them.
I guess looking at it from a outside perspective okay... we have had this dreaded shitful illness for so long have we actually died yet.... have actually havnt had a heart attack... havnt had a had a stroke....... in answer to all of them NO NO NO NO (just added an extra one just in case you thought of somethng else LOL. So were do we go from here well... The experts and all the books say.... FEEL THE FEAR AND DO IT ANYWAY. and each time we do things we get better and we dont focuss so much on our bodly sensations and each time it gets easier eg: practice makes perfect lol.....
In order to eliminate fear, one must know the FACTS, understand the answers and follow the correct process for recovery. It's as simple as that. It is also relieving to know that EVERY SINGLE ANXIETY SYMPTOM HAS A LOGICAL EXPLANATION AND CAN BE REVERSED. No ands, ifs or buts about it. FIND YOUR ADULT VOICE!!!!!
